You run and run, only to find yourself facing a crowd of the undead walking towards you! You scream and shout and then, you wake up! No Sir, it’s not! Just a few moments after they are killed, they get up and start killing everyone they see, infected with whatever causes the newly dead to rise up. The dead have finally risen right before your eyes, and you know what, they’re hungry! Consumed with an unyielding desire for human flesh, they are everywhere! All that they do is one job – Kill! What about the people that they kill? A normal person would think that that’s the end of the story. You can just feel that something supernatural is coming for you. Before you know it, you realize that you are definitely not alone and a multitude of voices come after you. You start freaking out and start running. You suddenly hear a tiny screeching sound that slowly grows louder and before you realize, a bony hand pops out from underneath the ground and tries to grab you. Let’s use our imagination and picture this scenario: You are alone in an unknown location, most probably a graveyard (well, that’s where all the fun is, right?). What ups the ante is combining such a high-quality console with a true gamer’s obsession – Zombies! Ever since the company was started, the consoles have quickly escalated to the top of the gaming chain. Though when their goal is to eat you I can’t see how many different ways that could play out. You can team up with other players and build forts to defend or take over vehicles to get across large areas quickly.Įach zombie has its own AI so every one you meet will apparently react differently. You need to survive against the zombies and other players and apparently the world will be a living breathing entity. Taking a slight change from the standard lore is that the zombies are pretty quick in this game but at the same time they aren’t very smart and are much scarier at night. You are dropped in a post apocalyptic world which is in ruins and your typical undead zombies are wandering around.

As expected it’s another Massively Multiplayer Online game and will apparently be free to play, I’m sure with some possible micro-transactions. So it was with quite some surprise when I saw that SOE’s newest game is yet another Zombie survival game. I’m a huge Walking Dead fan but I’ve noticed in recent months that the number of fellow fans have been dropping like flies and the grumblings about zombies in games have been getting louder.
